Why I'm Running

A fresh perspective moving forward is important and needed for Woodbury County and this Board, and as a young professional, I possess a skill set and viewpoint that is not currently represented. My background in problem solving and collaboration is something that is crucial for county government.

Now is an exciting time for our state and for Woodbury County; a continued focus on long-term economic growth is something that I am committed to. Rather than educating our sons and daughters in Woodbury County and watching them leave for opportunities elsewhere, we must invest in our future to create good paying jobs that keep them here and expand our tax base.

Growing up in a small town in Northwest Iowa I understand the challenges that we face. I am excited to be putting down roots in Woodbury County and think our best days are ahead of us.
